Event Coordinator – The Well in Wellington
Part-time | $20.00–$25.00/hour | 10–20 hours/week
About Us:
Grouse’s partner business, The Well in Wellington, is a one-of-a-kind, dedicated gluten-free taproom and gathering space. We brew onsite using locally grown, naturally gluten-free grains and pride ourselves on offering a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. Currently open on Friday and Saturdays from 3–8 p.m. and for private events, we’re keen to expand our event calendar and are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to lead the charge.
Position Overview:
The Event Coordinator is a key leadership role responsible for planning, promoting, and executing memorable events at The Well. This includes coordinating public and private events, managing client communications, overseeing day-of logistics, and ensuring our high hospitality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and coordinate a variety of events including private parties, live music nights, and community gatherings.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and vendors before and during events.
- Tailor event details such as food, beverage, setup, and décor to client needs.
- Manage the event calendar and promote events via marketing channels.
- Manage staff as needed.
- Digital work as needed, website updating, Constant Contact maintenance, promoting The Well events and capabilities.
Guest & Community Engagement
- Represent The Well in Wellington with warmth and professionalism.
- Cultivate relationships with contracted partners, distributors, hired staff, and Nothern Colorado Community members.
- Create a seamless and welcoming experience for all attendees.
Operational Coordination
- Schedule and oversee staff (as needed) during events.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and food safety requirements.
- Assist in taproom service support, particularly during events and open tap room hours.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality.
- 1+ years of experience in event marketing and promotion.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Passion for inclusive, community-focused spaces (gluten-free and allergy-friendly experience is a plus).
- Bartending or food service experience is a bonus, but not required.
