
Fire District Captain
This position is a front-line supervisor and oversees day-to-day operations of their assigned crew during routine duties and on emergency scenes; acts as the incident commander or incident safety officer at emergency scenes; enforces rules and regulations; provides training to department personnel.
Compensation: Salary range of $83,166 - $99,310 annually plus competitive leave, health and retirement benefits.
Minimum requirements:
• Associates degree; or 60 credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Current Colorado/IFSAC/CMCB Firefighter | & I|
• Current Colorado/IFSAC/CMCB Hazardous Materials Operations
• Current State of Colorado EMTB or National Registry EMT
• Current HSA CPR Provider
• NWCG Red Card Qualification
• Colorado/IFSAC/CMBC Fire Instructor |
• Colorado/IFSAC/CMBC Fire Officer I
• 2 Years minimum in the Officer rank.
• Approved Officer Academy
• Other experience qualifications considered
• 4 Years of Fire Service experience in good standing and with increasing responsibilities.
